Cleaning Reminder
I can't believe it's already August!
Most of our customers understand the value in doing
a tune up on their air conditioning system and realize both
the comfort and enhanced efficiencies of maintaining home
comfort systems.
However, not everyone thinks about the cool air
from the air conditioning system which travels through the duct
work into each of the rooms in your home or business (out of
sight, out of mind). This air travels through the un-cleaned
ducts and causes build up of dirt and the like on blower wheels
and indoor air coils thus reducing efficiency and increasing
repair bills and worse it could cause health related
issues.
Inspection Frequency
Ductwork should be inspected every year. The
frequency of having your Ducts Cleaned is based on
many conditions. i.e.
Determining factors include:
· How often the Air Conditioning system is used?
· Condition of ductwork.
· Indoor air conditions.
· Pets, etc.
We find that the actual observation with a video
camera is the best means of determining when to clean your ducts.
