Wow! April ends with a few 80-90 degree days just
to remind us of the dog days of summer to come our
way!
Most of our customers understand the value
in having a tune up completed on their air conditioning
system and realize both the comfort and enhanced efficiencies of
maintaining their home comfort systems.
However, as a reminder for those who are not sure of the
value of being both a Solvit agreement holder and the
benefits of having their a/c system tuned up each year, we
wanted to list just a few key points.
- The greatest
reason to hold a service agreement with Solvit is that you
receive preferential treatment over all non contract
customers.
When you need service on that 95 degree day, you move up
the ladder. On these hot days, it is not uncommon
for SolvIt to receive over 500 service requests, most of
which are from potential new customers who can't get
service from their "existing company".

When you pre pay for a service agreement we charge less than our
normal book price for those customers who just call in during
a heat wave to have their system checked.

operation:
thermostats, contactors, relays, electronic control boards, blower

WELL PUMP
PROTECTION
Today's homes of current design no longer have wells
as pictured above; just imagine a cold winter day and heading out to
the well to retreive water to drink, cook and bathe.
As homeowners we all take for granted that when
we turn on the faucet that clean and pure water
just flows without issue and for the most part this is true.
However, when you run out of water, it becomes the
most important issue of the day and sometimes longer.
Today's wells can be 600 feet or more down below the
earth and contain lengthy arrangements of piping, wire, valves,
pressure tanks, pumps, controls and the like. These parts and pieces
make up the system which provides you with clean,
safe drinking water always at the ready.
Then one day, we have that summer lightning storm and
our well pump seemingly shouts "here I am" and the
next thing we know we are out of water with a dead pump. Or maybe
it's late summer and the water table is low to the point the pump
cycles on and off until it burns out.
One way to provide added protection from a costly
replacement is to install a pump protection control.
Deluxe pump motor protection
devices offer the ultimate in submersible pump protection by
preventing damage due to low yield wells, high and low voltage, a
faulty check valve, a water logged pressure tank, sand clogging,
cavitations or air lock, rapid cycling, or drop in the water level in
the well. The control works on any 230 volt single phase submersible
pump motor from 1/2 hp up through 5 hp. Patented microprocessor
controls sense both over and under voltage, over or under motor amp
draw, as well as rapid motor cycling. The automatic restart timer is
adjustable from 1 minute to 4 hours. The control is suitable for
outdoor use and has both run and fault indicator lights.
